The EduVOD ecosystem facilitates the download of digital content via satellite broadcast networks to a server PC enabled with a satellite receiver at distributed schools without the need of high speed broad band infrastructure – extends reach across the country including remote areas.
The Receiver / Server receives and stores content to a local content library which facilitates learning material and lecture availability on demand, and is independent of an IP network or alternative content delivery system uptime.
Content from the local content library can be streamed to connected devices (tablets/laptops) from the local server in real time or downloaded to devices for later viewing.
Interactive applications are able to run on the server allowing learners to engage with content in the form of quizzes or tests on content viewed.
Usage reports / feedback made available to be stored and forwarded on the device or reported back via low bit rate internet connectivity (3G or wired connection) where available.Visit EduVOD for more detail
